漢語大詞典 app for iPhone and iPad
《漢語大詞典》，是中國大型的漢語詞典。其內容之浩繁，包括社會生活、古今習俗、中外文化乃至各種宗教的教義等，都發生縱向或橫向聯繫。詞典由中國數百位專家參與編寫工作，共收詞目約三十七萬條，五千餘萬字。
詞典以“古今兼收，源流並重”為編纂原則，所收單字以帶复詞並有引文例證者為限。以繁體字立目，簡化字括注於後。單字下用漢語拼音標註現代音，並徵引古代字韻書中的反切古音。复詞亦以繁體字立目，廣泛收列古今漢語中的詞語、熟語、成語、典故和較常見的百科詞，集古今漢語詞彙之大成。義項分析精當齊全，釋義扼要準確，並輔以豐富飽滿的書證。每個義項一般精選3～4條書證，全面反映語詞的歷史源流演變。書證涉及經部史部、諸子百家、古今文人別集、戲曲小說、筆記雜著、宗教經典、科技著作、學術專著、近現代報章雜誌乃至方志、碑刻、出土資料等，彌足珍貴。

Not working on my ipod touch 4, iso4.3
It can not find any Chinese word at all. Problem of the Developer or Apple ? Cant the problem be fixed, refund the charge please.

iPad 6.0.1 / iTouch 6.1.3 both work fine!
Seems pretty much like hard copy @ library. Havent exaustively compared it to very many HYDCD entries, but so far its exactly what it claims to be. Hard to beat if you read Chinese!!

Works well, great dictionary
Im very impressed this massive Chinese-Chinese dictionary is made available for the iPhone/iPod Touch/iPad world (though, to be honest Im a little dubious of the legality of it; this should be a copyrighted reference work --- nevertheless! Grateful to have it on the iPhone!) This is a huge dictionary that works quite well on the devices I have. Extremely simple interface. For $0.99 this is a great dictionary for those who can use Chinese to Chinese reference materials.
